We are currently looking for Civil Drainage Labourers, Drainers and Civil Pipe layers/Plumbers for multiple sites around Brisbanes Southern and Eastern Suburbs. You will be working for a civil company that specialises in land development and road construction. Job role duties: Assisting with the digging of holes for installation of stormwater/drainage pipes. Heavy manual handling of pipes to manoeuvre in to place when being installed Off-siding/spotting for the Excavator Operator on site Assisting the pipe-layers when required General site duties Assisting with asphalting and kerbing works. Pipelayer: Read plans, work independently, stormwater/sewerage experienced Operating rollers, moxys and other heavy machinery where necessary Required: Previous experience as a Labourer, Drainer or Pipelayer in a Civil environment Electrical Spotters ticket highly beneficial Prior experience in a physically demanding civil role A current drivers licence and reliable transport.
